All the best from Bag-a-Surf
P.S. This year, we want to revamp our website, to make it the go-to site for beach-cleaners around the world. Can you help us with coding or funding?
We have just spent an intense 3 days as honored guests at the first World IndigenousNetwork conference in Darwin, Australia.
We have partnered up with Nobodyz Trash Indigenous Marine Debris Network to work to help indigenous communities around the world address problems of marine pollution and management of pollution. For these communities, the impacts of plastic marine pollution are particularly hard felt because cultural, social and economic health are so deeply tied to their environment. By working with local communities who face these challenges everyday the Nobodyz Trash team in partnership with Bag-a-Surf hopes to find innovative solutions to this ever growing issue. We look forward to documenting of important stories and cultural connections to the marine environment, mapping, education and mitigation of local marine pollution.
